Q: How much will our ASA adoption cost?
A: You have some control
over the total costs of your adoption, in that if a specific case estimate
is not within your financial limits, you have the option of declining the
case. Although, we have had many adoption plans where final costs are
lower, our current financial experiences with the Parents
- In - Partnership plan average from $22,000.00 to $32,000.00, counting
the agency services fee, medical costs, legal, maintenance support, and other
expenses.
Because there are no guarantees on the birth mother qualifying for Medicaid,
the total case estimate may not reflect Medicaid and /or the birthmother's
insurance coverage. In that case, if Medicaid or insurance materializes in
payment, you would receive a refund of any overpayment following finalization.
Other variables that affect the total cost of adoption are the costs of optional
supplemental advertising, your travel, foster care if needed, and the home study
and post-placement supervision.
